04/05 : Lost and found items!
Have you misplaced, or let's say - LOST - a Grumman Jon boat, Camo colored, sporting RI 2547N? It's been found at 85 Ruffstone Road. It does have a hole in the hull and has at least been banging on rocks for quite a while. Also, someone's pedal boat has also drifted to us, and is tied next to our dock, sadly, semi-submerged (I couldn't pull it out of the water alone). It's kind of a reddish orange and white.
Owners may reach Kevin Sharp at 860.871.8309 evenings, and he's at the RI house pretty much every other weekend.
Thanks!

22/06 : Important Information
The dam needs a regular haircut – partly to make it look dapper, and partly to continue our process of its inspection. We are always watching for animal burrows and any other concerns that happen in any earthen dam (even one recently repaired).
We need four two-person teams – one to mow and one to weedwack. During the summer we need these team every other Saturday. Please call Jay Forte at 349-0828 to volunteer. If we do not get volunteers, we will need to pay for the service which increases our spending and budget. Let’s handle this role ourselves. Call today.
Private property
Remember the beach area to the west of the dam is property of one of newest members Susan Humphries. Please respect her privacy and her property.
No trespassing
Please stay off the dam; remember its sole purpose is to hold back the water and create our lake; it should be used only in that way and not as a gathering place or social space. This is to keep the integrity of the dam and will keep people safe since there are still some final projects on the dam needed to make the area entirely safe.
